108 St. Louis Parks
St. Louis has over 100 parks covering nearly 3000 acres of ground. They range in size from tiny pocket parks to the massive 1,370 acre crown jewel-Forest Park. In most cases, the parks are a reflection of the neighborhood. Between June, 2013 and June, 2015 I visited, photographed and in most cases, researched the names of the parks. It was a joy getting to better know the city I call home and some of the conversations I struck up with folks all over the city are still in my head.

I started my personal project to visit each of St. Louis' 108 parks (and Tower Grove Park) back in June, 2013. It felt like a good time for a process check since I'm a year into this.
As of June 1st, I have visited a total of 74 parks and have 35 remaining.

Being an admirer of maps, I kept looking at the bird's eye view of St. Louis thinking of all the places I'd never been or never heard of.
