A group of consumers organized a weekly shop the city bomb. St. Louis businesses were scheduled and targeted for support…city lovers came in great numbers. The local hardware store was packed and teeming with like minded city people supporting their neighborhood, their small businesses and of course raising tax dollars that go to St. Louis not Brentwood, Clayton, Fairview Heights you name it.

Taking care of their own…raising money for more speed humps and LED street lights and street trees to replace the naturally out-selected elms…

The aisles were packed, it was social. The shoppers were young, energetic and there were plenty of smiles.

If you gotta buy paper towels and deck screws, why not be among friends and have the satisfaction of supporting a local business or a city business.
